Hi Everyone,
Well, what can I say, but the last month has been a dream come true.
After a whirlwind few weeks I have now had some time to sit and reflect on my Olympic Games journey.
Firstly, in case you missed it, I won an Olympic Bronze medal at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. I am super proud and extremely grateful. We had a very close bout with Mexico’s Marco Verde in the Semi-Finals at the iconic Roland Garros Tennis Stadium.
15,000 cheering fans in the stadium with the roof on created an unforgettable atmosphere and millions watching back home in Great Britain and around the world. Although we didn’t get the decision on the evening we’re extremely proud of the performance.
Since securing the Olympic Medal I managed to enjoy even more of a remarkable Olympic Games. Full of media days, site-seeing and the closing ceremony.

On my return it’s been a fantastic two weeks starting with the Team GB homecoming at the Manchester Arena, followed by a celebration with friends and family in my home-town of Colchester. I’ve had interviews on Sky Sports and was invited to meet the team and staff at Colchester United FC.
I’ve met lots of amazing fans that have all wanted photos with the Olympic Medal.
A huge thank you to everyone that supported this accomplishment from family and friends, GB Boxing staff, Team GB staff, everyone that has sent kind messages and watched on television.
Very excited for what the future now holds.
Thanks.
Lewis.
