On June 17th, I made my way to the NEC in Birmingham for our Team GB kitting out day. The day that we would be given our Paris 2024 Olympic kit.
The last time I was at the NEC was when I won my Commonwealth Games medal in 2022, which I thought could have been my last major tournament for GB. So, it was quite the nostalgic return to pick up my new uniform for the Olympic Games.

All of the GB boxers that qualified for Paris 2024 attended and we were very much looked after by the wider Team GB staff.
I had a good sit-down interview with boxing journalist, Steve Bunce, which went out on BBC 5 Live.

That was followed by the serious tasks of multiple challenges set to all of the Team GB athletes. Such as, how many slices of toast you can spread with peanut butter in a 60-seconds, as well as other fun challenges.
After our media and commercial experiences we were then give our very own personal assistants to walk us through the uniform process and try on our new kit.
We were given every bit of kit you can imagine, from the shirts, trousers and shoes… to the Adidas sliders, bucket hats and Team GB sunglasses.
I ended up leaving with 3 suitcases of Olympic Kit included some unreleased athlete exclusive trainers.
Once we were in our new kit we had some headshots taken, videos in front of the green screens and even some posters made up of us all..

I’m looking forward to representing Team GB in the kit around the village, to competition days, and our unique opening ceremony attire.
The Opening Ceremony will take place at 7:30pm on Friday 26th July.
Bonus points if anyone can spot me on the TV and tag me on social media.
